Exercise releases endorphins, and these endorphins relieve stress, increase happiness, and increase productivity levels. Working out in the morning before work or school is one of the best times to workout. This way, you get your exercise in early, and out of the way, and your ability to focus throughout the day is much easier. By being active in the morning, your body adjusts and you will be energized throughout the rest of the day. You will be more productive at your job or at school, and you will generally be in a better mood.
Wake up an hour and a half earlier than usual and get to the gym. Get in your hour workout and shower at the gym, grab a healthy breakfast and then your off to work! You will feel good all day long, and by starting your healthy routine so early in the morning you are more likely to maintain it throughout the day. Studies show that if you eat a healthy breakfast you are more likely to eat a healthy lunch and a healthy dinner. On the contrary, if you skip breakfast, or eat an unhealthy breakfast you are more inclined to eat a larger and unhealthier lunch.
If you aren’t a morning person, try using your lunch break to get in a workout. Join a gym nearby your work or your school so that you can walk over easily. Waiting until the end of the day to workout oftentimes ends in no workout at all. We all get tired from being at school or work all day and come 5 pm all we want to do is sit down and rest. Get your workout in early and eat healthy, substantial meals throughout the day and I promise you will feel great about yourself!
